Shareholders of QV Equities Limited have overwhelmingly approved the proposed acquisition by WAM Leaders Limited, with over 91% in favor, moving the scheme of arrangement closer to completion. The deal’s finalization awaits the Federal Court of Australia’s approval and satisfaction of customary conditions, with an effective date anticipated on July 4, 2024. Upon approval, trading of QVE shares will be suspended, and shareholders on record by July 8, 2024, will receive their elected consideration by July 15, 2024.
