Quetzal Copper Faces Regulatory Setback

Quetzal Copper Corp (TSE:Q) has released an update.

Quetzal Copper Corp., a copper-focused exploration company, has been issued a Cease Trade Order by the British Columbia Securities Commission for not filing required financial documents on time, leading to a suspension of trading on the TSX Venture Exchange. Despite the regulatory hiccup, the company has since submitted the overdue documents and is actively seeking to overturn the trade suspension. Quetzal Copper is involved in several exploration projects in British Columbia and Mexico, including its principal project adjacent to Hudbay’s Copper Mountain mine.
