PYX Resources Limited has secured a three-year licence from Indonesian authorities to extract and process up to 88,800 tonnes of minerals from its Tisma Project in Central Kalimantan, which will bolster its position as the third largest publicly listed zircon producer globally. The licence allows for an annual production of roughly 8,000 tonnes of premium zircon, with a portion designated for export and the rest for domestic sale. The company’s commitment to the local community and environment is outlined in the terms of the permit, which include tax payments, environmental reclamation planning, and community development.
