Prudential plc has recently bought back 589,567 of its own shares at an average price of GBP 6.9103 per share, which they intend to cancel, reducing the total number of shares in issue to 2,698,405,306. This move, executed through Goldman Sachs International, is in line with the authorization from its 2024 Annual General Meeting, signaling a potential shift in the company’s equity structure and capital allocation strategy.
