Prudential (GB:PRU) has released an update.
Prudential plc has announced the buyback of 1,197,182 of its own shares, with the transaction being carried out through Goldman Sachs International on the London Stock Exchange. The shares, purchased at prices ranging from GBP 6.6820 to GBP 6.8320, will be subsequently cancelled, reducing the total number of shares in issue and voting rights to 2,739,050,006. This move aligns with the authority given by shareholders during Prudential’s 2024 Annual General Meeting.
