Prudential plc has announced the repurchase of 599,463 of its own ordinary shares on the London Stock Exchange through Goldman Sachs International, with the share prices ranging from GBP 6.3720 to GBP 6.4580. The company plans to cancel the acquired shares, which will reduce the total number of shares in issue and thus affect the voting rights count for shareholders. This move is part of the company’s capital management strategy as authorized by its shareholders.
