Prudential (GB:PRU) has released an update.
Prudential plc has announced the buyback of 600,000 of its own shares at prices ranging from GBP 7.1280 to GBP 7.2700 per share, with an average price of GBP 7.1957, through Goldman Sachs International. The shares acquired will be cancelled, subsequently reducing the total number of shares in issue and voting rights to 2,702,977,492. This action aligns with the authorization from Prudential’s 2024 Annual General Meeting and complies with the London Stock Exchange rules.
