Prudential (GB:PRU) has released an update.
Prudential plc has reported the purchase of 378,476 of its own ordinary shares at prices ranging from £7.0380 to £7.1700 per share, with an average cost of £7.0888, on the London Stock Exchange via Goldman Sachs International. The company plans to cancel the acquired shares, which will result in a total of 2,746,996,327 shares remaining in issue. This buy-back is in line with the authority given by shareholders and is a part of the company’s strategy to manage share capital effectively.
