Prudential (GB:PRU) has released an update.
Prudential plc has announced the buyback of 300,000 of its own shares at an average price of £7.4725 per share, with the intent to cancel them, reducing the number of shares in issue to 2,748,352,237. This transaction, which took place on the London Stock Exchange, is part of the company’s share repurchase plan authorized by shareholders at the 2024 Annual General Meeting.
