Polarean Enhances UVA Health’s MRI Capabilities

Polarean Imaging (GB:POLX) has released an update.

Polarean Imaging PLC has announced a trade-in agreement with the University of Virginia Health System to upgrade their MRI facilities with two new clinical-grade hyperpolariser systems, enhancing their research and clinical capabilities in lung disease imaging. The company expects to install the new systems later this year and aims to expand the use of their FDA-approved XENOVIEW™ technology, which provides a non-invasive and radiation-free way to assess lung function. CEO Christopher von Jako expressed enthusiasm for the upgrade, noting it as a significant step in Polarean’s strategy to transition research centers to clinical-grade operations.
