PLAYSTUDIOS Amends Credit Terms and Buys Back Shares

PLAYSTUDIOS (MYPS) has shared an announcement.

PLAYSTUDIOS, Inc. and its subsidiary, along with the involved lenders and JPMorgan Chase Bank as the Administrative Agent, amended their Credit Agreement on June 7, 2024. The amendment altered financial definitions to exclude certain stock repurchase payments and to account for tax refunds when calculating obligations. Additionally, PLAYSTUDIOS repurchased over 11.7 million shares of its Class A common stock from Microsoft Corporation for $24.6 million, a move that did not affect its ongoing $50 million stock repurchase program, which retains $46 million in capacity.
