Pioneer Lithium Limited has expanded its mining portfolio by applying for 73,061 hectares of rare earth tenements in Bahia, Brazil, with the Verde Valor project showing strong potential due to the presence of a significant radiometric anomaly and highly weathered clay soils conducive to rare earth deposits. The company maintains its focus on its flagship Root Lake lithium project in Ontario, Canada, while seeing the new project as a strategic move into the Brazilian critical minerals market that complements its existing assets. The Verde Valor project is in close proximity to local infrastructure, which could benefit the exploration and development activities.
