Ping An Insurance Declares Mid-Year Dividend

Ping An Insurance Company of China (HK:2318) has released an update.

Ping An Insurance (Group) Company of China, Ltd. has announced an interim dividend of RMB 0.93 per share for the six months ending on 30 June 2024, with a payment date set for 18 October 2024. Shareholders have the option to receive the dividend in Hong Kong dollars, with the relevant exchange rate and HKD amount to be disclosed later. The company also notes that a 10% withholding tax will apply to non-resident enterprise and individual shareholders, while Mainland China investors through the Hong Kong Stock Connect Program will be subject to a 20% withholding tax.
