Ping An Insurance (Group) Company of China, Ltd. has announced an interim dividend of RMB 0.93 per share for the six months ended 30 June 2024, with an update on the exchange rate and dividend amount in HKD now set at HKD 1.02048 per share. Shareholders have the option to elect for dividend payment currency before 30 September 2024, with the ex-dividend date set for 04 September 2024 and payment date on 18 October 2024. Non-resident enterprise and individual shareholders are subject to a 10% withholding tax, while Chinese mainland investors via the Hong Kong Stock Connect Program face a 20% rate.
