Ping An Insurance Company of China (HK:2318) has released an update.
Ping An Insurance (Group) Company of China, Ltd. has announced a final dividend of RMB 1.5 per share for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2023, with an option for shareholders to receive the dividend in HKD at an exchange rate of RMB 1 to HKD 1.09785. Shareholders can partially elect the currency option by the closing date of July 5, 2024, with the dividend payment date set for July 26, 2024. A withholding tax of 10% for non-resident enterprises and individuals, and 20% for Chinese mainland investors via the Hong Kong Stock Connect Program, will be applied.
