PIMCO Tactical Income Fund Class A (TSE:PTI.UN) has released an update.
PIMCO Canada Corp. has announced the proposal to merge its closed-end funds into a new fund called PIMCO Monthly Enhanced Income Fund, aiming to increase market liquidity and achieve economies of scale. The merger will not incur costs for unitholders, as all expenses will be covered by the management. Special meetings for unitholders to vote on this proposal are scheduled for December 4, 2024.
