Pieridae Energy Prioritizes Safety Amid Wildfires

Pieridae Energy Ltd (TSE:PEA) has released an update.

Pieridae Energy Ltd has temporarily shut down around 750 boe/d of production at its Ekwan field in British Columbia due to nearby wildfires, prioritizing the safety of personnel and infrastructure, which is currently undamaged. Additionally, the company plans to halt uneconomic natural gas production in Northern Alberta by the end of May, affecting roughly 1,000 boe/d, until market conditions improve. Pieridae is known for its significant role in the natural gas sector, both upstream and midstream, and is committed to providing affordable energy responsibly.
