Petroleo Brasileiro SA- Petrobras (PBR) has released an update.
Petrobras has announced a significant gas discovery in Colombia, with an estimated 6 trillion cubic feet of gas in place in the Guajira Offshore Basin, marking a substantial find for the local market. Operated by Petrobras International Braspetro B.V. in partnership with Ecopetrol, the consortium will progress with development plans in the region. The announcement promises future studies to assess the commercial viability of the reserves, with updates to be provided as material developments occur.
