Petroleo Brasileiro SA- Petrobras (PBR) has released an update.
Petrobras has announced the commencement of operations for Brazil’s largest natural gas processing unit in Rio de Janeiro, which is set to boost domestic natural gas supply and reduce imports significantly. The unit is part of the Route 3 Integrated Project and is expected to process up to 21 million cubic meters of gas per day. Additionally, the company is renaming the industrial complex to Boaventura Energy Complex and has plans to inaugurate it soon, with future projects including thermoelectric plants and refining units to produce fuels and lubricants.
