On January 22, 2025, Petrobras announced an extension of the charter period for the FPSO Cidade de Angra dos Reis at the Tupi field by five years until 2030. This agreement, part of the Tupi consortium which includes Shell, Petrogal, and PPSA, aims to improve production efficiency and reduce emissions, aligning with Petrobras’s 2025-2029 Business Plan. The FPSO has been operational since 2010 and plays a crucial role in offshore exploration in Brazil.
