Petrobras has announced a partnership with Gerdau S.A. to explore commercial opportunities for decarbonization and the energy transition, including low carbon fuels and hydrogen initiatives. The MoU, valid for two years and non-binding, focuses on innovative projects such as carbon capture and natural gas-powered steelmaking. This collaboration aligns with Petrobras’ strategic goal to reduce carbon emissions in its operations.
