Petroleo Brasileiro SA- Petrobras (PBR) has released an update.
Petrobras has announced the successful confirmation of a gas discovery off the coast of Colombia with the Uchuva-2 well, following initial findings in 2022. The well, part of a joint operation with Ecopetrol, is a significant step in exploring new energy frontiers and meets part of the global energy demand during the energy transition. The company will continue its drilling operations and plans to conduct a formation test by the end of 2024.
