Petroleo Brasileiro SA- Petrobras (PBR) has released an update.
Petrobras has announced that the FPSO Maria Quitéria, a platform ship with advanced decarbonization technologies, is on its way to Brazil from China and is expected to arrive in the third quarter of 2024. The vessel, which will begin operations in the Jubarte field within the fourth quarter of the year, boasts a production capacity of 100,000 barrels of oil per day and 5 million cubic meters of gas. Despite the accelerated schedule, with operations commencing earlier than initially planned, Petrobras maintains its production projections as outlined in their Strategic Plan.
