Pearson (GB:PSON) has released an update.
Pearson PLC has announced the buyback and subsequent cancellation of 166,389 of its ordinary shares at an average price of 1,017.24p per share. The transaction was part of the company’s ongoing share buyback program initiated on 1 March 2024, executed through Citigroup Global Markets Limited on the London Stock Exchange. These buybacks are a common tactic used by companies to return value to shareholders and possibly boost the stock’s value.
