Pearson (GB:PSON) has released an update.
Pearson PLC has successfully repurchased 8,638 of its own ordinary shares at an average price of 985.76p per share, with the transactions being executed on the London Stock Exchange through Citigroup Global Markets Limited. The buyback, part of an ongoing program initiated on 1 March 2024, will result in the cancellation of the acquired shares, demonstrating the company’s commitment to shareholder value.
