Pearson (GB:PSON) has released an update.
Pearson PLC has successfully executed a share buy-back, acquiring 24,105 of its own ordinary shares at an average price of 963.81p each, with the transactions ranging between 959.80p and 965.00p per share on June 20, 2024. In a move to optimize shareholder value, these shares will be cancelled as part of an ongoing buy-back programme announced earlier this year.
