Pearson (GB:PSON) has released an update.
Pearson PLC has reported the purchase of 171,514 of its own ordinary shares at prices ranging from 977.80p to 987.00p per share, resulting in an average price of 983.53p. The shares, acquired through Citigroup Global Markets Limited on the London Stock Exchange, will be cancelled as part of an ongoing buy-back programme initiated by the company earlier in March 2024.
