PCI PAL (GB:PCIP) has released an update.
PCI-PAL PLC, a global cloud provider of secure payment solutions, has won a decisive victory in the Court of Appeal against Sycurio Limited, in a patent litigation case. The High Court’s original ruling, which declared Sycurio’s patent invalid due to obviousness and stated that PCI Pal’s solution did not infringe, was upheld. The Court of Appeal has also moved to release £1.1 million in escrowed funds to PCI Pal, with a detailed announcement of further costs sought by PCI Pal expected soon.
