Park24 Co. has partnered with Uber to launch Japan’s first pilot rideshare service using car sharing vehicles, starting in Tokyo areas with a shortage of taxi services. The initiative aims to address the driver scarcity by allowing general drivers to use Times CAR vehicles for ridesharing. The project, which also involves Royal Limousine Co., Ltd., will run from September to November 2024 and could lead to increased mobility and vehicle usage.
