Ørsted Launches Major Wind and Solar Hub in Texas

Orsted (DOGEF) has released an update.

Ørsted A/S has announced the completion of the Helena Energy Center in South Texas, a sizable 518 MW renewable energy project combining wind and solar power to supply over 110,000 homes and businesses. The project, which features 66 wind turbines and over 600,000 solar panels, has already secured multiple contracts and is expected to contribute to grid reliability and local economic growth. Celebrating the milestone, Ørsted has underlined the importance of the project to Texas’ energy landscape and its commitment to expanding its onshore portfolio in the US.
