Orla Mining (TSE:OLA) has released an update.
Orla Mining Ltd. is set to expand its Nevada footprint by acquiring Contact Gold Corp., integrating the strategically located Pony Creek property adjacent to their South Railroad project. The deal, valued at approximately US$8.1 million, offers Contact shareholders a 77% premium and results in them owning about 0.7% of Orla’s shares post-transaction. This acquisition promises to bolster Orla’s resource base in the prolific Carlin trend, with significant exploration potential in the newly combined, and historically underexplored, land packages.
