Origin Energy Limited has reported a considerable increase in their financial performance for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2024, with a statutory profit of $1,397 million, up from $1,055 million the previous year. The rise is attributed to higher earnings from the Energy Markets and Integrated Gas sectors, resulting in an underlying profit of $1,183 million, and a final dividend increase to 27.5 cents per share. CEO Frank Calabria emphasized the company’s strong balance sheet and commitment to support vulnerable customers amid cost of living pressures.
