Orezone Gold Corporation (TSE:ORE) has released an update.
Orezone Gold Corporation has revised its expansion strategy for the Bomboré Gold Mine in Burkina Faso, opting for a two-stage development of its hard rock plant due to financing considerations, with the first stage estimated to cost US$80 million and completion expected by late 2025. This approach aims to enhance the mine’s production to 170,000-185,000 ounces of gold annually over the next three years while maintaining a strong balance sheet. Additionally, the company is planning a multi-year exploration campaign to potentially increase the mine’s mineral inventory and target higher-grade mineralization.
