Optus and TPG to Boost Regional 5G Rollout

Singtel (SG:Z74) has released an update.

The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) has approved a regional network sharing agreement between Optus and TPG Telecom, which will expedite the deployment of 5G services in regional Australia. This collaboration will not only provide regional customers with faster access to 5G, but it will also enhance service quality and choice. The 11-year agreement, extendable by five more years, is set to kick off early 2025, promising significant advancements in mobile connectivity for regional communities.
