Ophir Gold Corp. has announced an upcoming surface exploration program at the Pilipas Lithium Property in Quebec, aimed at investigating the area’s potential for lithium pegmatite deposits. The company has a fully funded budget and plans to conduct geological prospecting, rock sampling, mapping, and aerial surveys starting May 20th, 2024, with a focus on high priority targets identified from historical data and satellite imagery. The exploration is part of Ophir’s strategy to leverage its strong financial position and geological expertise in anticipation of drilling later in the year.
