Ondine Biomedical’s Steriwave Adopted by UK Hospital

Ondine Biomedical, Inc. (GB:OBI) has released an update.

Ondine Biomedical Inc.’s Steriwave nasal decolonization technology will be employed by Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust to combat infections in patients undergoing skull base surgery. Steriwave offers a quick, one-time antimicrobial treatment that reduces the risk of post-operative infections and the need for antibiotics, aligning with the UK’s plan to combat antimicrobial resistance. This innovation has already been adopted by other UK hospitals for surgical site infection prevention and is part of a growing effort to improve patient outcomes and reduce healthcare costs.
