Old Mutual Ltd. (ODMUF) has released an update.
Old Mutual Ltd. has declared an interim dividend of 34 cents per share, with a payment date set for October 21, 2024, for most shareholders and November 15, 2024, for those on the London Stock Exchange. South African shareholders will face a 20% withholding tax on dividends unless exempt or eligible for a reduced rate, while international shareholders may also be taxed depending on their country’s tax treaty with South Africa. Furthermore, shareholders from different regions will receive their dividends in local currency equivalents, calculated based on specified exchange rates.
