Odfjell Partners Holding Ltd, controlled by Helene Odfjell and her family, is considering a potential sale of up to 23.4 million shares of Odfjell Drilling Ltd, which is about 9.76% of the company’s total shares, through an accelerated bookbuilding process. The sale aims to enhance the liquidity of the company’s shares and diversify the Seller’s portfolio, with the bookbuilding period starting immediately and possibly closing on 26 September 2024. The Seller, who will still retain a majority stake, has agreed to a 180-day lock-up period post-sale, subject to certain conditions, signaling a commitment to remain the leading long-term shareholder.
