Octopus Renewables Infrastructure Trust Plc has expanded its renewable energy portfolio by acquiring a 42MW solar farm near Dublin, making it part of Ireland’s largest solar complex at 241MW. This acquisition, partially financed through a €104m debt facility, and its 15-year power purchase agreement with Microsoft, underscores ORIT’s commitment to sustainable energy and promises stable revenue. The expanded complex will supply green energy to around 50,000 homes, significantly contributing to Ireland’s renewable energy targets.
