Octopus Future Generations VCT PLC has announced its unaudited financial results for the period ending 30 June 2024, reporting a net asset value (NAV) per share of 86.8p and a total net asset of £46.1m, despite a net decrease in NAV and a loss of £4.0m for the period. The company, which focuses on investments in businesses addressing environmental and societal issues, has added 13 new companies to its portfolio and successfully met VCT qualifying investment requirements. Despite current challenges facing early-stage companies, there’s optimism for market recovery, supported by political stability and a positive start to the year for IPOs.
