Joseph M. Otting has been appointed Executive Chairman of New York Community Bancorp, Inc. and Flagstar Bank, N.A., effective June 5, 2024, enhancing his leadership capabilities within the company. This strategic move, announced in a press release, aims to bolster the company’s operations and execution of strategic initiatives. Alessandro P. DiNello will resign from his role as Non-Executive Chairman but will remain as a board member and senior advisor, lending his banking expertise to support the leadership team.
