Northland Power Inc. has announced the sale of the La Lucha solar facility in Mexico to Cometa Energía for approximately $205 million, expected to close in 2024. The deal, which aligns with Northland’s strategy to focus on core markets, will see the proceeds used to repay credit facilities and support general corporate purposes. The sale is contingent on customary closing conditions, including regulatory approvals.
