Northern Graphite Corporation has expressed support for the Biden Administration’s decision to impose a 25 percent tariff on Chinese natural graphite, aiming to strengthen the North American graphite industry and secure local supply chains. The company is poised to benefit as it prepares to extend the life of its Lac des Iles mine and bolster North American graphite production. Northern Graphite is positioned as the only flake graphite producer in North America, with plans to expand and become a major supplier for the green economy and lithium-ion battery manufacturers.
