Norsk Hydro ASA Initiates Major Share Buyback

Norsk Hydro Asa (GB:0Q11) has released an update.

Norsk Hydro ASA announces a share buyback program, intending to purchase up to 100 million shares for a maximum of NOK 2 billion, aimed at reducing the company’s share capital. The program, starting on September 11, 2024, and ending by February 28, 2025, will maintain the Norwegian state’s ownership percentage post-cancellation of the acquired shares. Citigroup Global Markets Europe AG will execute the repurchase, which will be in line with EU market regulations.
