Nokia Corporation has temporarily halted its share buyback program, originally set to return up to EUR 600 million to shareholders, due to an outstanding offer made to Infinera shareholders. The suspension will last until after Infinera’s special meeting on October 1, 2024, following Nokia’s accelerated repurchase plan announced in July 2024. On August 16, the company purchased 2,388,391 shares at an average price of 3.70 EUR per share, before pausing further transactions.
