Nokia Corporation has initiated a share buyback program to mitigate the dilution caused by the issuance of new shares to Infinera Corporation shareholders and related incentives. The program, authorized by Nokia’s Annual General Meeting and compliant with EU regulations, aims to repurchase 150 million shares for up to EUR 900 million by the end of 2025. On January 3, 2025, Nokia repurchased 872,093 shares at an average price of EUR 4.31 per share, amounting to a total transaction cost of EUR 3,762,907, increasing its treasury shares to 222,986,522.
