Newport Reports Solid Quarterly Royalty Income

Newport Exploration (TSE:NWX) has released an update.

Newport Exploration Ltd. has announced a substantial quarterly royalty income of AUD$1,034,780, with a net amount of AUD$724,346 after Australian taxes. The company, which holds a 2.5% Gross Overriding Royalty on licenses in the Cooper Basin operated by Beach Energy Ltd., now boasts a treasury of approximately CDN$1.8 million in cash and short-term investments.
