Nelson Peltz Exits Wendy’s Board, Arthur Winkleblack Appointed Chairman

Nelson Peltz has resigned from his position on The Wendy’s Company Board to focus on his other commitments and his role at Trian Fund Management. In recognition of his contributions, he has been named Chairman Emeritus. Arthur B. Winkleblack, previously Lead Independent Director and a board member since 2016, has been appointed as the new Chairman. The Board has been reduced to 11 members following Peltz’s departure. Peltz supports the company’s current direction and leadership under CEO Kirk Tanner, confident in the future success and growth of Wendy’s.
