Murata Manufacturing Co., Ltd. announced that it has not purchased any of its own shares in the period from July 1, 2024, to July 31, 2024, despite an earlier resolution by the Board of Directors to buy up to 44 million shares. The company had previously set aside up to JPY 80 billion for stock repurchases, and as of the end of July, it had acquired 16.9 million shares for about JPY 50 billion.
