MS&AD Insurance Reports No Shares Repurchased

MS&AD Insurance Group Holdings (JP:8725) has released an update.

MS&AD Insurance Group Holdings, Inc. has announced that, despite board approval for the repurchase of up to 130 million shares at a maximum cost of 190 billion yen, no shares were actually bought during the designated purchase period from July 1, 2024, to July 31, 2024. This buyback plan was part of a broader initiative spanning from May 21, 2024, to December 23, 2024, but as of the end of July, the company has not executed any purchases.
